The Dee Oh Double

So I just heard Snoop Dogg’s Olympic commentary called Snoop’s Greatest Hits. It was hilarious. His excitement and descriptions were authentically funny and empowering. His friendships with others that seemed unthinkable like Martha Stewart are so fun. Isn’t it hard to allow others to change. We hold on to memories and the past as if it’s real. It is the past … it’s over dammit … water over the damn dam … it is gone and done. This guy was a gang member and accused of murder at one point. I remember watching his trial. He has made pornographic rap videos in the past. He has had reality shows with questionable behaviors on TV. Questionable lyrics exist that were not very lovely. However, this wonderful brother, as we are all One, has obviously grown and become a human that can help others in many ways. His example is inspiring. A person coming off the street with nothing as a child can be a national celebrity inspiring all of us to be a better person … to be a person that can change and grow and become helpful to humanity. I want to remember how everyone can change. Some say you never change. I believe in miracles and alchemy. God is more powerful than our abilities to try and change our small self. If I can change then anyone can!! I was as toxic and angry and mean and selfish as they come 10 years ago. I was soooo jealous of people born with parental or familial love. I was bitter that I didn’t have a wonderful head start with money or power. Those that knew me back then (just 10 years ago) would be in disbelief of who I am now. It’s alchemy. It’s a miracle. It’s changing water into wine or a common metal into gold. This is the beauty of God and learning who we are in our True and Divine self rather than the lies that our small self believes. I’m thankful for Snoop Dogg as he is my brother in Christ. God loves Snoop and loves you and me just as much.
