I just met two super rad brothers when I went to the store yesterday. The first new friend I encountered was a customer service helper. He asked if my basketball jersey that I was wearing was custom. I said yes and he mentioned the last player he thought wore the number 69. I said that I realize some of the connotations with this number, however I said it was about Balance for me. The number 69 is like the Yin and Yang. Opposites show Balance in our polarized world. Balance is everything in life. This guy then started showing me all of his sacred geometry tattoos and we connected. I asked him if he has used some plant medicines because that imagery is prevalent and seen often when using those spiritual tools. He smiled and acknowledged my comment. It is funny how we just don’t know whats inside the cover of a book. We don’t know the depth of those we encounter. If you looked at this person, you might not think he’s a conscious brother. This happens often when we make assumptions. I am impressed with how much this Agreement to not make assumptions is useful. So often we find ourselves bailing water after made an assumption and went down a rabbit hole that wasn’t necessary to go down. We could have saved a lot of time and effort if we had gotten all the details before we make a judgment we thought was sound. I didn’t make a wrong assumption this time. I just got reminded about the depth of those I encounter. Again, we’re all on our own Path.
As I was leaving, I held the door for a guy walking in. He was so legitimately and authentically happy I did this. He was really happy to greet me and to say thank you. That energy blew me up. I’m really thankful to be in this generous world. This is an amazing land that we live in. People want to be nice and be happy deep down. Yes, there are those that are angry and kick the dog. We cannot take that personally which is another Agreement in The Four Agreements. Most people are actually wanting peace and joy and desiring to be kind. Seeing the Fibonacci tattoos that was all about this gentleman’s relationship with balance and the kindness from just a smile and heartfelt thanks from another human will put the wind under my wings. I get a burst of Joy running through my body. These were really wonderful connections today.
Just like a sequence of numbers you see or repeated concepts that you may encounter, it’s confirmation that you’re on the right track when you get lit up by another brother or sister’s fire. I am reminded of balance daily. I am reminded about Love by the kindness of strangers. I am blessed to be given little nuggets of Wisdom or encouragement. My vow is to put Balance into play. I want to further my connection with others by supporting Union and not division and separation. I will continue to greet others with a high vibration. So often, when I encounter others with kindness and understanding, they respond in like ways. I am so grateful.
