What is normal? I was thinking about this label of “normal” that we place on people, cultures, environments and things. The answer is everything is normal. We adopt what we see and learn to be normal. Whatever environment we are raised in is normal. What we know as common and uncommon is normal. However, what is normal for you will not be normal for others. It is relative. Every single person has a different environment with different family and friends.
Some people will be perceived as more disadvantaged than others. Some people’s normal is more affluent. When we think of victimhood we think of being given less. We have all the resources available to us no matter where we are in life. I believe we have chosen the life we have now, whether that is before we incarnated here or in our daily choices. We are always in choice and we are given the present moment to use. Every moment is full of choices. Every current situation is the perfect opportunity to accomplish what we’re here for. Every situation we are in has been created from our choices. We all have an opportunity to achieve whatever we dream of while we’re here. Each situation is useful because it gives us what we need to face a problem or build a dream.
On the first day of class in sociology 101, we were told that generally people do not achieve above or below what they expect. To be specific, studies have measured that most people will be at the same status as their parents. It is a Bell Curve where most will generally be right around the demographic they grew up as. Some fall below and some rise above. This relates to your financial demographic, the amount of love you received as a child, the status of your occupation and so on. If you’re used to living middle class that’s how you will expect yourself to live and end up living ideally. It is the same with lower class or upper class. Expectation is belief in Knowing form. Expectation has power … energetic creation. So what you perceive as normal could be your expectation. Belief is what creates.
We tend to favor what we are comfortable with. This becomes part of our normal. Our worth also is a factor with our perception of normal. We may adopt the attitudes of our parents and that includes their views of their own worth. It is a difficult cycle. We don’t know what we don’t know. We are here to break negative cycles. We are here to practice positive cycles.
Comparison seems to be involved with the definition of normal. If I compared myself to the average person in a third world country or even less affluent countries, then I would say I am doing well. If I compared myself to some of my clients, then I would be barely scraping by. Accepting our culture’s propaganda convinces us to think more favorably or negatively about others. We become convinced others are better because they have this product that costs much more money. Actually, we are all brothers and sisters and equal. We are equal because we all have the same spark of creation… the energy that makes up our soul. We come here with nothing and we leave with nothing.
We all can achieve anything we dream and jump above that Bell curve. Most of us are going to land somewhere in the same demographic we expected to be in … where we thought was normal. We have the most amazing abilities when we can harness expectation and use that powerful energy in a way that creates. We must know our worth. We have to become aware that there is more and the opportunity and unimaginable potential is available to us and we are worthy of good things. We expect it because that is our normal. We become aware of unproductive ideas and break cycles. We can dream and jump up into realms not many will go to. We can achieve what we can’t even dream yet. Imagine what you would want and then imagine what you should have and then know that what you should have is beyond your dreams. We’re here in a dream world and we can dream for anything that we want. We can go beyond what we have expected. It is necessary to dream and fantasize and believe.
If we use our expectation for our dreams, we can create what we want. We know the power of expectation based on real data results. We receive what we were expecting. We can use this superpower to bring us more than we understand as normal. We must use expectation and a re-understanding of normal. Having expectation is Knowing. We can use our choices every moment to lay out a different future. This future is based on what you want, Knowing you can have it and comes by dreaming and believing.
