These are questions I have been asked by friends in relation to this blog and the book I am writing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask or comment as I am always seeking interaction for my growth and yours.
Who can be a Heartbroken Warrior?
To be clear, to be a Heartbroken Warrior isn’t like joining a club. It is simply principles that are mentioned that can be chosen to be followed. You do not have to believe everything that is stated, nor do you have follow any rules other than those you decide to. Heartbroken Warriors are on their own unique Paths which are individually chosen by them without the need for acknowledgment or approval by others. We recognize that all people have a unique fingerprint that no one has ever had and this demonstrates their own specialness. We can choose our own way with our own tastes and desires, even if we find a choice to be unfruitful. When we do find an unsavory Trail, we can learn from that experience and choose a different outcome that is more favorable.
Anyone can adopt ideas put forth here and take them and expand upon them for their own benefit and the benefit of those they encounter. A Heartbroken Warrior isn’t a brand. It is just ideas that have been documented long before this blog or website.
Who are you write this?
I am no one special and I am indeed very special. I was told to do this. I approach this with extreme humility as I am a work in progress and certainly no better than anyone else. I am loved no more or less than anyone else in God’s eyes. I make all the same mistakes as others and I am aware of my past choices with both positive and negative outcomes for myself. I am very much no better than anyone else. I am just a human having a Divine experience on this Earth like every single person. I was just asked to put my learning into print for others to benefit from or for others to ignore. I am continuing to learn, grow, heal and develop skills and traits that are like our Creator which is all peoples task … just maybe not in this lifetime. We all have purposes for our existence. It may be for some to “wake up” or for some to be a great dad or maybe it’s both or neither. One Journey is not better than another Journey.
It disturbs me how our culture and the media love to place esteemed people on a very high ladder. People are swayed to believe that those people in high positions whether that be religious figures, politicians, celebrities, or maybe anyone wealthy, are better than anyone else. People in the public eye or in high positions are absolutely not just better than others, but struggle with their “demons” as anyone does. As it is said, everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time. Everyone, no matter how they are revered, uses the bathroom, has body odor, makes foolish choices, and the list can continue. The media is waiting for a misstep by someone that is in some pious place. To expose a revered person as normal or even worse, is great clickbait and there is money to be made. There is power to wield by controlling peoples viewpoints and guiding others back to a controlling power source like a religion or government or school or job or family. It is not fair to you or them to laud and then demonize anyone. In fact, when you do such things, you will surely view and treat yourself that way. When we view others with such scrutiny, you view yourself with the same scrutiny. When you practice Understanding and Kindness, then you give those things to yourself and those you interact with. A guiding principle to follow is Self-Love and to view everyone as a child of God.
I use writing for my own growth and learning, as I often receive epiphanies and Wisdom as I write. I never ever want to convey that I have all the answers and that you should believe how I believe. We are on our own Paths. That Path you decide to take up the mountain is your own choice and unique to only you. You can see the destination high atop a mountain and decide for yourself how you want to get there. We have that gift of choice that allows us to hone our skills by trial and error. These writings are my own culmination of Truth that I believe and see based on many books and lectures I have been gifted to grow from. You have the Divine Gift of Free Will. You can choose ANYTHING you want. If you can dream it, it can be. You have all Power in your hands via your choice.
