Stop Fighting and Start Loving

·

So many people have the best intentions to change the world. This is a wonderful thing, but it can seem overwhelming and many get fatigued and disenchanted. Often, we put our upmost effort in protesting or canvasing or telling others what is right and what is wrong. We can change the world, but it’s a lot to take on.

I contacted a friend yesterday when I went to lunch to get the best veggie pho in town in my opinion. The pho reminded me of her because we have gone out for pho a few times. She asked if I was doing okay in this political climate. I had so many reactions to this in a brief second. I thought … I don’t allow my energy to be corrupted by negative viewpoints or other’s actions. I thought … It is okay to put your head in the sand when it comes to negative reports from the news sources. An inundation of questionable “truth” and fear can corrupt my vibration, especially since the news sources are so polarized. I thought … I can only control what I can control. I thought … The president was fairly elected by the majority whether I wanted that or not. So many ideas. I did not communicate any of these back to my friend. I thought this is a conversation and not a quick text.

When thinking of how to change the world, my philosophy I have gathered for myself reigns supreme for me and I am so grateful for that Wisdom I have been given. The best way to change our world is to change how we view the world. This is radical to those that only know how to do so with their own efforts and might. To many, we have a personal responsibility to fight against the oppressive machine. This is the only way to some. It can be some people’s salvation. However, changing how we see the world can be a powerful catalyst for changing the world itself. Our perceptions shape how we act, how we treat others, and how we approach challenges. If we change the lens through which we view the world by embracing empathy, understanding, and open-mindedness, we can inspire actions that lead to positive change on an individual level and within communities. If we shine our Light, we can enlighten others. We don’t turn off a darkness switch to have light. We turn on the light switch to rid ourselves of darkness. As a Heartbroken Warrior, seeing problems as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles can drive growth and provide epiphanies of creative solutions. Our empathy and understanding for others’ struggles and their painful life experience can lead to greater cooperation and compassion by breaking down societal divisions. When we shift our perspective, we see new opportunities and possibilities. This mindset shift will create ripples in the pond with our loving interactions and inspire positive changes in others. This is prayer in action. If we want to create positive change, we must first cultivate a mindset that allows us to see possibilities, empathize with others, and challenge existing norms. Love is the tool or the Warrior’s weapon for change.

Shifting our perspective of the world often precedes meaningful change in the world itself. Our perceptions, beliefs, and attitudes shape our actions, decisions, and interactions with others. If we want to create positive change, we must first cultivate a mindset that allows us to see possibilities, empathize with others, and challenge existing norms. If we see the world as a place of scarcity, we may act out of fear or competition. If we see it as a place of abundance, we may collaborate and share resources. If we view differences as threats, we may perpetuate division. If we see diversity as a strength and the basis for creativity, then we can find Unity which births inclusion and innovation. Mahatma Gandhi famously said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” This starts with how we perceive and interpret the world around us.

We create our own reality. Our thoughts create action. The world around us is a reflection of our vibrational frequency and focus. If we want to change the world, we need to shift our inner vibration. Our perception, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs vibrate at a certain frequency. Whatever vibration you have radiates to those around us. The more we focus on negative thoughts or lack, the more we attract experiences that match those vibrations. Similarly, if we focus on positive thoughts, gratitude, and expansion, we shift our vibration which then attracts more positive experiences into our lives and the world around us. A high vibration attracts lower vibrations to resonate up to it. Everything is energy, and we can shift our own energy in our lives by shifting our thoughts and feelings about situations. When we see the world through the lens of Love, Abundance, and Unity, we not only feel better, but we attract more of those experiences which creates a ripple effect in the world. We are not victims of circumstances, but the creators of our experience based on how we choose to perceive the world. It is not the wildfire that took everything we own that ruined us, but the reaction to the wildfire. When we shift from a place of fear, then we see the interconnectedness of all things. We can Know that we impact everyone we encounter with everything that we do and importantly, everything that we think. Internal change leads to external change. We not only transform ourselves but contribute to global transformation.

Robert Edward Grant is a polymath, author, and researcher known for exploring connections between mathematics, geometry, and philosophy. I love this guy. I have learned such profound Wisdom from him. Check him out on YouTube. He is our current world’s Leonard Di Vinci. He uses mathematics to see the “hidden geometry” in everything. He believes in this with equations like …

Change in the World (ΔW) = Change in Perception (ΔP) × Action (A).

If either factor is zero, the change in the world will also be zero.

New Perspective → New Actions → New Results.

Your view of the world is influenced by how you perceive problems, challenges, and opportunities. Changing your perspective means you approach situations differently with a broader or more open mindset. A changed perspective leads to new behaviors, decisions, and actions. If you start to see challenges as opportunities or see potential where others may see problems, your actions will reflect this new outlook. The actions you take, when informed by a fresh perspective, lead to new outcomes. Over time, these actions compound and can result in larger-scale changes, both personally and in the world around you. Our perceptions shape how we act, how we treat others, and how we approach challenges. If we change the lens through which we view the world by embracing empathy, understanding, and open-mindedness, then it can inspire actions that lead to positive change on an individual level and with others.

Taoism offers profound insights into the idea that changing the world begins with changing how we see it. Taoism teaches that the world is an ever-changing, interconnected whole, and to truly affect positive change, one must first change their perspective, alignment, and relationship to the Spirit that is inside of everything and everyone. One of the core principles of Taoism is non-action or effortless action. This does not mean doing nothing, but rather acting in harmony with the flow of the universe without forceful or unnatural effort. The key to change, according to Taoism, is to let go of control and allow things to unfold naturally. This perspective shift of moving from trying to change the world through forceful action to understanding the interconnectedness of all things. This is a far more effective and a harmonious change. It is rooted in how changing our thoughts will change our life and the actions that come from us changes the world. Taoism emphasizes humility and letting go of our monstrous ego. By seeing the world from a place of humility, not as something to be controlled or dominated, we change the way we engage with others and the world. Who are we to know what is best for others? If a majority elects a President, then we can allow their choice and work within the current state of affairs for Love and Peace. The Yin and Yang is foundational in Taoism, opposites are not enemies, but parts of a whole. They are complementary forces in the world. Change in the world starts by recognizing the inherent balance in life. Changing how we view the world is recognizing that opposites are not inherently in conflict. Rather, they are part of the greater unity of life. When we change our perception to see life as a flowing balance of opposites, we become more adaptable and are better able to influence positive change. By embracing the Yin-Yang principle, we stop seeing the world as something to be fixed or controlled. Instead, we see it as a dynamic flow with everything contributing to the whole. This allows for a deeper understanding of how we can bring about meaningful change. We can let go of forceful attempts to control via non-action and instead, we can trust our Creator and how this Perfect eternal force has control and essentially a Plan. We do not have to be afraid if we believe the world is spinning out of control. This is how we can align with the natural flow of life. We can shift from a mindset of domination to one of cooperation and trust. We understand the balance that opposites are not enemies, but necessary parts of a harmonious whole and trust the process of life’s unfolding.

In essence, the Tao Te Ching teaches that if we want to change the world, we must first change how we perceive it by seeing it as interconnected, ever-changing, and perfect in its balance. We can trust our Creator and know that we are always cared for. This way will bring about the most profound change both within us and in the world around us. Lao Tzu reminds us, “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” If you would like to learn more on the Tao and non-action, I recommend the book “Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life” by Wayne Dyer. This book explains each short chapter of the Tao Te Ching in a meaningful commentary by the author.

There are other ways to fight instead of our antagonistic combat style we have been indoctrinated with. By starting with ourselves and understanding that there is no otherness in others, we can work with our society. Beating someone into submission will only work if we kill them or until they can rally and get their strength back to attack and hurt us when they recover. Haven’t we tried this method enough? Changing our perspective by raising our vibration to Love and not living in fear is changing our thoughts and our view of the world. We are not separate from anyone! We are not better than anyone. Sure, some have done reprehensible things that hurt others, but realize that the True Vibration of the Creator is inside every cell of everyone and everything around us. Yes, those that you may “hate” or judge as bad humans, have the God that made you inside them. We are no different to God. We are all loved equally and on a Path to perfection whether people know it or not. You can Know this. We can Love everyone, but I admit it is not easy and we all struggle with this. You have to practice to be skillful. We can create change only by changing our philosophy and view of our world. Change begins with ourselves.

Try unconditional Love with those you struggle with. Try it with yourself. It is so easy to Love our friends or lover or anyone that already loves us, but a challenge to unconditionally Love anyone else. When you raise your vibration to Love, it is HIGH and based on scientific law, a low vibration must lift and resonate to it. Give it a try. You will begin changing the world one person at a time and this will compound and snowball when they in turn do the same.
